The Caring Place is 501(c)(3) non-profit organization provides programs and activities designed to help young people overcome the pressures and limitations of their environment. The Caring Place wants children and youth to believe that life offers more than the social ills around them. Therefore, its goals and objectives address the needs of these young people. Tenants at The Caring Place contribute to the non-profit organization and help it fulfill its mission.
The 931 Hamilton building was built in 1931 and it is in the heart of Allentown. The Caring Place Youth Development Center was founded by Mary Griffin in 1996. Its executive suites has a private entrance next to Taste of Soul Restaurant. There are available executive suites on the third floor ranging from 120 sq. ft to 216 sq. ft. On the fourth floor, there is approximately 8,600 Sq. ft of medical office space including boardrooms, exam rooms, and more. Sinks and shelving are already installed on the Fourth floor. It also has a private bathroom in the main lobby and two more bathrooms located on the opposite end. The second floor has approximately 2,838 sq. ft of open space that is great for tenants looking to host business and private events. Tenants that are hosting events must comply with The Caring Place’s non-alcohol policy. Multiple-toilet restrooms are located at the opposite end of each floor. There is also a freight elevator in the back that enables tenants to move big pieces of equipment and supplies. |
